searching capabilities - yes.
static and temporal metadata - yes.
using metadata to create virtual subclips - yes.

Doing it the way FCP X does it? - no.
Using the keywords to organize the project - no.

In the end, you'll have to give it a try and see if it fits what you like about FCP X's way.
