You have the generators set, now you need to set system frequency (23.98, 25, 29.97, etc.), resolution (1080, 720), TC settings to INTERNAL / PRESET. Enter the time code start and store it as the TC GEN start. Hold record, hit play, stripe away. I do not know the exact places you will find these settings, but Sony HDCAM machines will have them somewhere - find the operations manual and search for the things I listed.
