Doubt you'll need to worry about overheating, unless you are putting a bunch of drives inside as well. But you don't say that. The last SR2 build I did, I put it some Corsair H70 liquid coolers - bit overkill, but kept the cpus cool with 4 internal SATA drives! That was in a very large Lian-Li case, this one claims to house a hptx, but I would double-check with the EVGA forums to find someone using that case with the SR2. The SR2 is quite a large mobo. The one thing I question with the whole thing is the external array. You're spending that kind of money for something that can be quite fast, but going with storage that may bottleneck your editing. I'd go with a miniSAS card and external array.
