I hear people that love their SSD OS drive. I haven't used one yet. I think your fine with the platter drive myself. Just image the drive once a month or so - Windows 7 makes it easy. Then you're prepared for the inevitable HDD crash. Better yet, you could clone the drive, but then your needing another drive. An image can go anywhere.
