The current version of Squeeze will NOT make prores files.

Sorenson are apparently working on "licensing issues". They say this feature is "coming".

The previous version, Sorenson 7, will make Prores.


I find the ommission of ProRes output astonishing, whether or not it is in the pipeline.

I've found v8 somewhat unstable with a few crashes - nothing I can't cope with, but still. I guess things will improve once it evolves from version-point-zero.
