Not bad advice above. Progressive capture is superior to interlaced especially if you have to do compositing in edit. Interlacing after to deliver a "i" version looks better than de-interlaing after the fact to deliver a "p' version.

All HD master deliverables for feature films are 1080P/23.98 because any deliverable made from it looks good, 1080i, NTSC, PAL, you name it.

Also never shoot true 24FPS unless planning on a film output always go 23.98 (or interlaced 59.94)
