A longs hot here, but all the encoding apps I've used that make use of watch folders require UNC paths to be specified in the setup...so you can't browse for your folder and use that naming convention. Just look up UNC paths to see the syntax IF that might be the issue.

I know with backup programs if you use regular network paths it will work for a while but eventually lose connectivity. If you use UNC paths it rarely cannot find the computer or folder.

Again..a real longshot but something we've seen in setting up file backup software as well as in setting up watch folders for other compression programs.
