XSAN to EditShare

XSAN has been an integral part of our operation for quite some time. But it doesn't seem to get along well with NLEs other than FCP. That, plus, in order to have any type of asset management, we're looking at CatDV to fill the gap. But with EditShare now including Flow and Ark free with their hardware, I have to seriously consider it.
First off, it appears it would include the features we were already in the market for: asset management, smoother archival, and rough cuts editing for our producers. Second, it would keep us from having to upgrade our current 2Gb Fibre switch which I'm told is going to set our budget on fire.
The only downside I see, and it looks pretty big - we can't use our Promise RAID hardware. Our XSAN has 80TB now. I'm certain, to replace our XSAN hardware with EditShare won't be an easy nut to crack here. I have no idea of the costs.
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
