Hi Brendon,

i think i have experienced the directory or for that matter the volume locking problem.. Both volumes have locks on them now...
metaSan now keeps locking up system pref now, so i have decided to kill the server and build it from scratch tomorrow, i have reformatted the drives as well...
I have never seen this with metaSan before and i have installed a few....
I have at the office a second system that i will use a test server.
I have asked the Tiger Support if they do have any documentation on how to set properly afp with metaSan.. not holding my breath there.
They say it is suppported but looks like there are few gotchas that have not been documented for the users....

Did you enable volume permission in the Metasan gui for your san volumes or you left them disabled?

I think i should ask you for your paypal account to pay you some consultation fees ;-)

regards

If you think of anything let me know.
