Gary,
I'm sorry to hear about the trouble you are experiencing with your 100 Series setup. Most likely, the problem is that the LMa transmitters are not set to the 100 Series compatibility mode. The LMa is part of our 400 Series, and is capable of transmitting in any one of six (6) different modes. Changing it from one mode to the other is not terribly difficult, but does require some patience and the small screwdriver that came with the transmitters.
First, check to see what mode they are in by powering on the units, and then counting the blinks of the two audio meter LEDs. After the initial blink, there should be a sequence of blinks and my guess is that there are four (indicating 400 mode).
If that's the case, here's what you can do to change the mode to 100 mode.
1. With the transmitter off, and the mini screwdriver, set the rotary switches to "C C" (for "change change").
2. Power on the unit briefly (like 1 second) then turn it off again quickly.
3. Set the rotary switches to "1 1" for 100 mode. Power the unit on again briefly and quickly shut it off.
4. Set the rotary switches to "0 0" (for "complete") and then power the unit on again. Now, after the initial power blink, you should see the audio meter LEDs blink only once.
5. Now, tune your transmitter back to the frequency you had selected by finding a clean channel on your receiver.
6. Repeat for the 2nd transmitter.
If this does not work, please give me a call at 505-994-9859 and we'll figure out what's going on.
Sincerely,
Karl Winkler
