Thanks for the info!

I'll take these ideas and run with them. M-Audio is starting to look like the best bet for the interface. I think I was over-thinking it. I found a pretty good deal on the AT2020 bundled with an XLR cable, stand and pop filter, but I want to check out this other mic you've recommended too.
