Sorry, I should have been more specific. The software I'm using is Sound Booth CS4. At this moment I would most likely be going through the integrated audio on the board, but I'd be interested to know what options I have for internal audio hardware as well.
I agree with you on effects, I was just interested in this board because of the built-in compressor (Saves me buying an additional one). My budget's actually around $800.00 so I'm flexible.
