unusual timecode question
by maurice jansen on Oct 31, 2009 at 3:34:16 pm

hi there all.

for a rather large event i need to distribute timecode to several location's a few can be reached with cable but other don't simple because they are on a other side of a river or on boat's. on the boat's and other shore of the river there is light and pyro to be triggered with Timecode.
my first idea was to use a full bandwith audio transmitter and some recievers. the other idea i have is to use a videotransmitter and insert VITC and use VITCreaders on the recieving point's

does anyone have experience with this ????
i will cross post this in the broadcastvideo forum also.

hope you can provide some answers.

greet
Maurice
