Pro Tools, Timecode and Pull up...
by Rob Matthews on Jun 26, 2008 at 4:09:28 pm

I wonder if anyone can help me..
I have just started working on a film project that was shot at 24fps.
I know that it is being edited on an NTSC machine and the Quicktimes I am receiving are 23.976 fps.

In Pro Tools my session is set to:-

Vid format : PAL

Timecode Rate : 23.976

FPS :24

Is this ok

Everything right now is in sync but I am worried that when all the editing is complete and the Mix starts all my audio will need to be pulled up by 0.1% to match the film print (24FPS)

Am I correct in saying this? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Should I be using 29.97 Quicktimes to avoid this issue
