Actually, I don't think it will provide phantom power through the 1/4" TRS inputs. I could be wrong, but I think it is only the mic in that provides phantom power. Might wanna check on that first though. I run mine through my SD 442 and out to that as a backup, so I haven't used the +48 feature.
