Assembling final mix, multiple reels ?
by

For the first time, I received a final 5.1 mix, for a film I need to author the DVD, divided in multiple reels (5). I know this a usual way to mix films but I always got the final mix assembled. I noticed that there are tones at the beginning and the end of each reel. Is there a "standard" way to do the assembling by audio mixers ? For now, I could get the stereo file delivered on the final DigiBeta and synchronize the reels with that, but don't to mess that up.
Thanks for any input!
Pierre
