Is this really how it's done? Using strobe or cutting little pieces out of the top layer? I've seen some pretty elaborate beat syncing with this transition and I'm talking elaborate. There's a few videos that sync to the high hats at blazing speeds to EVERY tap of the ever changing beat. How do you achieve this? You'd be manually splicing all day!!! And to get it to match super fast beats is tedious!
