Prelude CS6 With dual-system-based Workflow

Hey all -
I'm looking for some thoughts from Adobe reps regarding how we might use Prelude in a project that relies heavily on dual-system sound. Often, I will have hundreds of video clips from an "event" that I filmed in production for a documentary with one or two cameras. However, I would like to sync them with the production sound (usually one long track) FIRST, and then log them after I have the sound synced.
After playing around with Prelude, it doesn't appear that there's any acknowledgement that many people work in this way. Do any Adobe reps have thoughts on this, and how verite-style documentary editors like myself can leverage Prelude?
Thanks,
Ryan
