If they are using CS3 or CS4 After Effects then the MXF files should come in without any extra plugins. But I need to point out that AE is not an editing App it's a compositing and motion graphics app so I wouldn't suggest anyone tried to actually edit with it as there is no realtime playback without a ram preview. If they have Prem CS3 or CS4 then that would be the way to go for an edit. Then AE for graphics, grading, compositing.
