Importing MXF HD into CS4 on MAC
by Mike Healey on Oct 27, 2009 at 5:36:05 pm

Hey folks - Shooting a project in 720p and the client wants to do the rough cuts in-house on their own system. In the past, I've imported the footage in PPro here and exported MOV files for them to use at their office.

Can I give them the native MXF files shot with the HVX200 and allow them the capability to edit with AE CS4 on a Mac? Will they need any additional software or plug-in's to be able to handle the MXF files? I'm cutting with Matrox AXIO LE on a PC so I'm clueless what it takes to cut on a MAC.

Thanks!

~Mike~
