HDV footage losing synch with audio...

I'm getting a little frustrated.... I'm capturing HDV footage straight to a laptop on cs3. I also am recording to tape at the same time.

Some of my footage is A ok... but some of my clips have a "glitch" frame, then the audio goes out of synch. There is even one clip where the video is fine, but there is a piece of audio that gets repeated over and over again for the rest of the clip. It is doing this both on my laptop and desktop. My laptop is 2.2ghz dual core with 3gb ram and 512 dedicated video card. My desktop is a 2.4 quadcore with 8 gb ram and 1gig video card.

Has this happened to anyone else? I am clueless as to the issue,I have captured and edited HDV plenty of times before with no issues... I am considering downcoverting the footage from my camera and just editing in SD

any help would be greatly appreciated !!!!
