Combining HD 24f footage with 24p?
by Kent Lamm on Jun 24, 2009 at 10:11:01 pm

I have filmed most of a project with a Panasonic HVX200 at 720p and 24fps. I have it edited in Premiere CS3, but I have one more scene I need to film and I'll be using a Canon XH-A1.

I won't have the camera until tomorrow when I'll be filming, but I understand that it films in 24f instead of 24p. Will it work in my timeline or will it cause me problems? I don't know much about recording formats or anything, would it be easier to film in something other than 24f?

I plan on exporting the project to Blu-Ray when I finish if that matters...
