A non-guaranteed suggestion:
Try moving the media cache and media cache database from machine 1 to their designated folders on machine 2. See: http://help.adobe.com/en_US/PremierePro/4.0/WS741BE3C1-41CC-4e00-BCA2-E1DC0...
