Correctly using 3 drives
by

I have now installed three drives in my Core i7 desktop. It is my understanding that one is for the OS, another for the source footage, and the final for the output footage.
What is the correct way to use the drives? I am under the impression that by default Premiere Pro CS4 stores all the temp output data in folders in which the project file is saved. This leads me to believe that the simplest way to do things is to keep the source footage on the 2nd drive and to simply create and keep the project (and thus output files) on the 3rd drive.
Is that the easiest way or do I have it wrong?
Sam
