Thanks guys. I'm glad I asked as my assumption was wrong! Don't assume anything, always best.

I'm going to see if I can order the manuals separately and report back.

I think that Adobe's online videos and video materials, which are widely distributed, are great and seem to cover what's in the manual rather well, but for some people like me, a written reference is very useful. I can read several hundred pages from a manual but I find it a strain to do it from a computer monitor, even a modern LCD.
