I would say "thank god it's not just us" but that would make it sound like a positive thing.

Exactly the same symptoms here as you described, on every install of CS3 whether on a 32 or 64bit OS.

It's kind of embarrassing when you've got clients sat behind you anre you are there like "yeah... come on.... aaaaaaaaaaany time today please [insert CS3 app name of choice]"

Spend a fortune on high-end kit, get the latest tools... and then ... Sucks. :(
