Re: Jitter/Stutter in PP and AE CS3 (effects both preview and encoded product)
by Jeremy Gibson on Sep 6, 2008 at 8:22:53 pm

Well now I am really hosed. I was playing with tring to resync the sound, and I determined that the sync problem was related to the time remap from the interpret. My project audio was 48hz and the footage from the camera that was giving me problems was 32. So I started a new project and tried the footage out. After a few minutes I got a /src/audio/AsioHost.cpp-409 error that I found no help on, because I had 1. Not had any xfade effects on the clip and 2. Not imported a PP2.0 project.

So I figured the install was corrupted and reinstalled only PP. Now when I start PP it says the installation failed and that "Licensing for this product has stopped working" even though the rest of CS3 works fine.

I checked around and followed all the steps on

But no luck, this is too much to have to deal with. I hope maybe someone has an idea. I don't have much free time for all this and was hoping to get a video made of our tour here in Iraq. We have about a month left and at this point I'd really love to go back to PP2.0, but by the time my wife sent all the stuff, I'd probably be on my way back..

If anyone can help please let me know. I know I should call Adobe tech support, but I don't want to waste my morale call for this crap. Sorry, but this is really frustrating.

Thanks,

Jeremy
