Re: Jitter/Stutter in PP and AE CS3 (effects both preview and encoded product)

Now the stutter is back. I am started a new project using a combination of DV fottage from the camcorder and the digital camera movie footage. The DV footage imports as 720x480 29.97fps, so to take advantage of the WS footage, I am using the same project settings. For some reason, now the footage shot from the same sony camera, in this new project, is defaultly interpreted as 25fps, not 30 as before. Now when I interpret at 29.97 the stutter goes away, but the audio is out of sync. But the sync issue only occurs in the sequence. If I view the same re-interpreted footage in the source monitor the audio is fine. What in the world is going on here? This is making no sense. I love CS3, but this is really frustrating, because I am doing nothing different than what I used to do in PP2.0

Thanks,

Jeremy
