It does it's own thing. I wonder if you could do your capture in Scenalyzer, unlink all your clips in premiere and then relink each clip to its new counterpart. Certainly time consuming but perhaps easier that an entire re-edit.

Even more idealy would be to set up your naming convention in Scenalyzer to create identically named duplicates and then hide the original files. The next time premeire asked to find the media you could point it to the new clips. I don't know if that would work or not. If I have some time this afternoon I will run a test.
