syncing audio to video and subclipping

Hey there, ive recently shot something dual system, and now im wondering how exactly i can sync up the audio to the video and subclip it. im used to doing this with FCP and Avid, but there doesnt seem to be a way to subclip two seperate peices of media together. If anyone that can shed some light on this it would be very appeciated
