HI, I had the same error except with Premier Elements. After multiple tries I found out that it was complaning about the lack of disk space. But I had more than ample disk space. Then the light clicked on. Most of these programs create large files, in the gigabyte range. FAT32 cannot support any file larger than 2 GIG. So I used a drive with NTFS format and everything worked great, over and over. So make sure your scratch and working files are pointing at a NTFS formatted drive. You can convert your FAT32 to NTFS without losing any data. There are disk utilities that will help you do this.
