VideoLan VLC - simple to use, erightsoft SUPER, more complex. more options, more invalid choice possibilities, better quality.

Edits like a charm in PPRO CS3 using custom desktop video editing mode.

For those doubting that this can be worthwhile, the Enron Smartest Guys movie grossed $4 million and was made up almost entirely of what appear to be Real Media clips from the 90's. YouTube quality is usually much higher, especially recent uploads.
