PPro CS3 Proxy Editing and Raylight
by Marissa King on Jun 30, 2008 at 8:42:03 pm

Hi all,

From what I gather from my research up to this point, proxy editing in PPro CS3 is unsupported.

I'm looking at Raylight as an option and wondering if anyone has any insight.

I'm looking to pack and go - take a project from my suite to a client's site via laptop, edit on site and bring the project back once the edit is done.

I'm running Premiere Pro CS3 with Matrox Axio hardware using P2 footage.

Have I overlooked any other options or would Raylight be the best solution?

Thanks in advance for any insight or advice!

Marissa
