Best Compression for DVD Please Weigh in

I am creating a DVD. Can you please give me the different opinions as to which compressor is best. Specifically Quicktime/Animation vs. Microsoft DV AVI/DV NTSC. Thanks in advanced

Project is
720 x 480 16:9
SD

Source footage is SD also
