GPU assisted playback with 2 different video cards
by Edward Kishel on May 19, 2008 at 4:04:30 pm

I understand that PPro CS3 uses the video card to assist in rendering the video faster, but what about the following: To use three monitors, I have two different video cards in my system-
#1 is the 9600 GT 1GB DDR3 and
#2 is a 8600 GT 256MB DDR3.

Card #1 runs two monitors and card #2 runs the third. Now which one does PPro use for GPU assisted playback? I obviosly want it to use the more powerful card. I spoke w/ Adobe Tech Support and believe it or or not they said they didnt know.
Thanks for your help.
Ed
