Premiere and Vista - Current experiences.

Building a new machine for Premiere CS3. What's the lastest wisdom on operating system: Vista 32 vs Vista 64 vs XP?
I've had conflicting advice, including to set up a dual boot with XP for Premiere, and Vista for everythig else, and maybe Premiere "later". Seems messy to me.
Guidance based on current experience welcome
Dave
