Help!! Exporting hddv video

I have transfered and edited, an hddv video using premire pro cs3, but it seems like I can't get a decent looking export. I've tried exporting it to encore and exporting to movie. I am using a mac. Can anyone tell me what is the best way to get the best resolution, or quality video to dvd using ppcs3.
