PP CS3 - mixing 16:9 & 4:3 ??

I live in the UK where we use PAL, if that has any bearing on my problem.
I have been given footage to edit from 2 different cameras, one a widescreen, the other 4:3 - i know not the spec of the cameras, all I know is some of the footage is widescreen, and the rest is not.
If I edit this footage in a PP CS3 project that is set as DV PAL Standard (i.e. 4:3) will the widescreen footage be automatically adjusted on the export to AVI after editing?
I want to avoid resizing within PP CS3 at all costs if I can!
Advice please!
