If your editor has a Matrox RTX2 card, it will only export 1440x1080 (not 1920x1080) which is OK, because the movie was shot in HDV, which is also 1440x1080. However, if you open the clip in a 1920x1080 FCP project, you may have to adjust the pixel aspect or the H size to get it to fill the screen properly. If he has a Matrox Axio card, he (or she) would be able to export a full size (1920x1080) file (scaled up from HDV). Either way, the quality should be the same.
