Hows it going Alan?

I have to say I never really noticed what your talking about until I tried it myself but I see what you mean. It seems thats if you move the clip too fast off the screen the timeline doesn't go with you but if you sort of edge the clip off the screen the timeline follows and then you can pick up speed.

I have to say however I find Ctrl + X, Ctrl + C and Ctrl,Shift + V much better ways of moving clips around. Anotherr handy trick is if you want to put a clip in between two clips hold down Ctrl and you will see a dotted line with arrows and you can then drop your clip in between other clips. Oh and if you press the key your timeline automatically zooms out to show you everything on it.
