Why does the search for files window keep popping up?

I recently did some audio work with some music files and now every few minutes a window pops up asking, "where is file 'music.mpg'?" I thought I had these files already imported, but recently they came up as offline, so I right-clicked on them and clicked link to media. Also, I am currently working on a copy of a copy of a recovered file, if that means anything. Thanks.
