Thanks for the piece Alan.
When we met years ago (at a sushi place next to Q's that no longer exists) you'd talked about leveraging your VFX skills to help you stand out from the crowd when looking for editing gigs. At the time Little Manhattan was your most recent film and I was thinking "Yeah, I could see doing some rough VFX for a non VFX driven movie like that" but to see that you are still doing it with a movie like Spider-man (in 3D none the less) is pretty freaking amazing (no pun intended). It's just another example that no matter how long you've worked in this industry and how much you know you still need to keep pushing forward and learning new things.
Best of luck on "Catching Fire" (no pressure to satisfy a rabid fan base on that film either, ha!).
