As you can see from the image the perset is available in CS6. Off the top of my head it sounds like it may be an install problem. Also, have you installed the extra Premiere Pro CS6 content?
If the problem continues, try uninstalling it (after devactivating it first) and reinstalling it. Then, if you still have a problem you will need to get on to Adobe Tech Support.
What you mustn't do is give up on CS6 as the updates really are worth working through any problems you may have!
