I am doing thesis research on remediation in film and new media. This intermedia theory, developed by J.D. Boulter and Richard Grusin, revolves around the borrowing and repurposing that occurs between different media. In this digital age this process happens at an every increasing rate. Your examples of cinematic elements in paintings and filmic spaces are very much in line with remediation. Have you written or do you plan on writing any other articles relating to this process?
