Why don't we have private messaging? Because too many people who are too lazy to sign up for an account and wait a few hours for an answer (or are just too proud to ask a question publicly) will email our leaders expecting that they privately hand-hold them and answer their questions offline (the most egregious ones actually call at all hours of the day or night). We refer to them as "stalkers" and we do not encourage their behaviour.
