I just wanted to touch base, as we live in the same town and I'm hoping at some point you get a chance to see the feature film we shot last summer.
I directed with my wife (a professor at CU Boulder) and also cut the film together (using Premiere, as we shot on RED).
You'll be happy to know that the only hand-held scenes were actually
poignant... which seems to be unheard of with "indie films" these days. And most of our quick-bang cuts happen during flashy dance numbers (and are thus justified and part of the visual storytelling).
