Re: The Art of Editing: Sometimes we worry too much about technical things.

For me, a great example of 'You can produce the most technically perfect show in the world and it will FAIL miserably' is 'The Prisoner' reboot. As a technical showreel it's fantastic, narratively, it's a grand mess of style over substance. One imagines the scene in the edit-suite went something along the lines of, 'That's a great online. Now, how can we over-egg the pudding? How many eggs have we got? Loads. Throw 'em all in.'
