I would like to see the screenwriters forum return as well.

Also a discussion of invisible vs. conscious editing would be great.

I personally hate most concert videos where the cutting is much too quick, and the use of lots of close ups removes the element of the viewer to see the interaction of band members, and disorients the viewer. This type of concert may be exciting to watch once, (actually it's artificial excitement, while the real drama should come from the performance) but on repeated viewings, (on purchased concert blurays and DVD's) they just don't hold up.

Regarding creative input on the the Cow. I think it would be fantastic to show work in progress, and be able to get some feedback, especially from creative and technical individuals not assoctaited with the project to give unbiased opinions and solutions. However due to the type of projects most of us work on, clients would not be happy to have unfinished (or often even finished) work online.

I think it would be amazing to have a private (or by invitation) forum, or perhaps a private space where members could be invited to look at things, and then have the ability to take them down or erase comments once the project is done.

This might not be in the model of a completely open forum, but something in between that could allow us to share without violating our clients' trust.
