Well, but I wouldn't even compare - I also did some corporate videos - for bringing the food on the table. I think, we were talking about the cinema as art form - which is - and should be - miles away from commercial business. Yes, I agree that for corporate work - the tech side of this forum is much more important. But I am quiet sure, that there's a lot independent filmmakers on the COW, which are really into the art side of film - and those ones should be reminded from time to time - it's not all about technique! I do believe, that even in good commercials there's soul and art - look at commercial directors like Michel Gondry, Jonathan Glazer and Spike Jonze.
In that sense, I agree with Ron - really would look forward, for a new extra forum, that deals with artistic questions about editing, discussions about esthetics or simply sharing artistic thoughts and point of views on film - like Jerry did with this article.

Film nowadays did such a great leap in technique, now it's time again to develop the content. Pearl Harbour - technically done very well - as a movie an artistic and historical nightmare. "Little Miss Sunshine" - very small, unspectacular, no fancy effects or cinematography - but Brilliant - cause it has humour, soul and emotions!

Yalla, off I go.
