I couldn't agree with you more. However, I do have some theroies as to why we are much more technical in our interaction with the COW.
1. Technical is much easier to convey than aesthetic when using type.
2. Its easier to give a common perception or "right" answer to technical questions. Aesthetics doesn't provide for one right answer.
3. Aesthetics involves much more opinion, which is easier to dismiss or get into an argument about.
4. Aesthetics can be the "secret sauce" to a project. We don't want to give away our "formula" for others to steal.
